The Wild + Free Issue

Some readers may have noticed that while the blog has been a little unloved lately we have a new website. It's still a work-in-progress but it's going to be a hub for all things Extra Curricular. To begin with, you can download our desktop wallpapers and anything needed for our tutorials on our downloads page (like the sun printing tutorial in the latest issue).

We've had really great feedback about this issue, thanks so much to everyone who's been in touch (and of course to those who've quietly enjoyed the issue too). It always gives me the warm fuzzies when readers take the time to write in with positive messages, it's hard to be objective when the new issue's fresh off the press and you've been so close to it for so long!

Here's a look inside issue 14. If you haven't picked up a copy yet, head to one of our stockists or straight to the EC store. There are a few new stockists in the mix too – welcome to Culture Kit in Portland VIC, Housekeepers Design in Oamaru and Urban Charm in Palmerston North).

Our next issue is in the works and out early September.

Hot X Buns

Something to get your buns along to this weekend if you live in Auckland – this illustration show is going to be de-licious... featuring EC alumni Rebecca ter Borg, Sophie Oiseau, Sarah Larnach and more super talents, it is only on for 3 days from 11-13 April, so check out the event page on Facebook and mark it down in your diary now!

Print fund sale

Our first ever sale! We need to top up the print fund kitty, so all back issues in stock up to issue 10 are just $5 from our online stores at extracurricularmag.bigcartel.com or felt.co.nz until Monday.

Happy Friday! Lucky 13 Desktop Wallpaper

You complete me

All the beautiful A Skulk of Foxes phone covers have been sent off to our lucky prizewinners - Emma Anderton, Kitki Tong, Laura Hogan, Hannah Hawthorn & Sophia Cussell. Just the possibility of adorning it with one of these makes me covet an iPhone. If you have one of those already, complete the package here - these are seriously gorgeous in person.

Tall Tales for your desktop

As Joseph Herscher said in issue 12, 'Play is the secret of life.'

Erica Harrison's interpretation of the Tall Tales theme captures this sentiment perfectly, and will remind you each time you sit down to your computer that even work should involve a little play!

If you didn't catch our downloadable desktop wallpaper in the latest newsletter, you can download it here.
