That's tomorrow folks. First Thursdays is held in St Kevins Arcade in K Road from 6pm on the first Thursday of each month - this is only the second one. It's inspired by a Seattle-based event by the same name, and showcases new and exciting talent in the fields of visual arts, music & performance.

And the winners are...
We ran 3 competitions in the first issue and drew the winners this morning.

The lucky recipient of the pack of 5 Katydid Gocco-printed cards is Pavani Wijewardene.
Winner of the Miracle & Wonder tote by Miss Ellie May is Kylie Sanders, and Tammy Bruce gets the diplodocus tee from T-shirtopedia.
Happy Monday everyone! And here's hoping this rain isn't settled in for the day, or we will all be very soggy at the Laneway festival... don't forget your plastic poncho.

Toby Morris is one of the people featured in the first issue, talking about his drawing project documenting his daily life in Amsterdam. He finished his project in time for Christmas and it looks like a book might happen! Plans for starting a new project are in the works too, so bookmark his blog to keep an eye on developments.
Here are some more of his awesome drawings.
